Global showcase
Give your own version of World Sport Day a truly global feel. We are inviting you to celebrate the cultures and traditions of your favourite teams and nations from around the world by hosting your own Global showcase. Why not focus on food, language, art, music and dance as well as sport and geography?
You can do this in your classrooms, canteen, assembly hall or on your school field! Maybe there are members of your local community with first-hand knowledge who could help you plan and deliver the content of your Global showcase?
The dining hall in the Athletes’ Village will serve cuisine from around the world to thousands of athletes. As a key part of many cultures, how could you use food to showcase your teams?
