Applications to the Young Games Maker programme are now open!
22 Sep 2011

We’re on the hunt for over 2,000 16-18 year olds to help put on the greatest show on earth next summer.

Young Games Makers are needed across various London 2012 departments, from Aquatics to Athletics, Taekwondo to Technology.

Volunteers will be fully trained on their roles, which will range from distributing athlete results to officials around a venue, to carrying athletes’ kits on to the field of play.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young people to get involved in the Games – while learning new skills, gaining experience and making new friends.

We want young volunteers to have a fantastic experience and be well cared for, so we’re recruiting for teams of Young Games Makers, headed by a team leader who already works with them.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to lead a team of young volunteers from your school or college, apply now!

Applications are open until midnight on 31 October 2011.
