Mad about meadows competition
26 Oct 2011

Schools in London are invited to design a mini meadow inspired by the Games in an unusual container or an area of the school grounds.

Students may decide to design their meadow in a bucket, a wheelbarrow, an old boat, or in mouldy footballs! It is up to them to decide the most sustainable and innovative location for their meadow.

One hundred schools that enter the competition will receive a packet of seed and all the help and advice that they will need to bring their design to life. Ten lucky winners will also be invited to attend an awards ceremony and will receive a £50 voucher for the London 2012 shop.

The competition closes on 9 December 2011 and is open to students age 5-16 in schools in London.
