Hundreds of schools across the UK got creative in the kitchen and took part in the ‘Get Set to exercise your taste buds’ competition.
Over 6,000 healthy dishes were submitted to the judges across four categories; primary schools, secondary schools, special schools and F.E colleges.
All of the schools who entered the competition, will shortly receive a letter of thanks, your entries were brilliant and the judges definitely had a difficult decision on their hands! Some of the healthy meals included a Banana boost smoothy, Fishy fritters and an Asian athletic appetiser!
13 schools have now been shortlisted by the judges to attend the national competition final which will be held in Westminster Kingsway College, London in the coming weeks.
