The British University & College Sport Championship (BUCS) 2011 is offering free entry to local school students and clubs!

The BUCS championships are one of the largest multi-sports events in the UK and one of the most important events in the student sporting calendar. During the event, over 4,000 student athletes will compete in 19 different sports from universities across the UK. Sheffield is the host city for the forth time since the championships began.
The championship will take place over 7 days (14-20 March 2011) in Sheffield and the surrounding areas at various venues such as Ponds Forge ISC, Climbing Works and the English Institute of Sport Sheffield. The event will showcase sports such as, Badminton, Hockey, Netball and Lacrosse.
Sheffield is also hosting the BUCS Championship Football Finals on the 11th May 2011 at Bramall Lane Football Club.
British Universities & College Sport (BUCS) are offering all local schools and junior sports clubs the opportunity to attend the championship and witness the sporting opportunities available in higher education for free!
The deadline for applications is Friday 18 February 2011.
