Leon Taylor, Olympic Silver Medallist and BT Ambassador visits a Get Set network school to launch BT phone app as part of the BT Coaching for Life programme.
BT launch new mobile phone app!
18 Feb 2011
The Coaching for Life programme encourages parents and carers to help children try different games, and at the same time introducing them to key coaching principles they can adopt, which embrace the Olympic and Paralympic Values to help young people get better at anything. The games in this module are flexible; they can be adapted for use with young people and for those with disabilities.
Whilst at Christchurch C of E Primary School in Wandsworth Leon said: “I’m thrilled that BT has created 12 games with the intention to help parents get back into the habit of playing with their children. And with this mobile application, it’s even easier to play the games outdoors or on the go.”
The Coaching for Life resource is part of the Communication, Collaboration and Citizenship strand of Get Set, the official London 2012 education programme. Find out more
