Young film makers could see their work screened on Live Sites and at iconic London 2012 venues through Film Nation: Shorts, a new UK-wide competition.
Have your film screened at London 2012 venues!
22 Mar 2010
British Film stars Nicholas Hoult, Georgia Groome, and Thomas Sangster gathered to launch this exciting competition that will see 11-25 year olds from across the UK submitting short films that celebrate the Olympic Values of friendship, respect and excellence, and the Paralympic Values of courage, equality, determination and inspiration.
Entries can be of any film genre – a documentary, drama, animation… and the best work will have an audience of thousands as it is screened to spectators at venues during the 2012 Games, on giant Live Site screens around the UK, on the London 2012 website, and on a dedicated Film Nation website!
And even better, this isn’t just a competition; a programme of free workshops will be delivered across the UK so that young people have the chance to learn from professionals and use the latest state-of-the-art Panasonic equipment.
If you’ve already got some film making skills, why not get started on your film now – entries can be submitted from June!
