Supporter 2 Reporter and Wright Robinson see history in the making!
17 Feb 2010

Year 7 students from Wright Robinson Sports College in Manchester travelled to Llantrisant near Cardiff to visit the Royal Mint to see competition winner Theo Crutchley-Mack struck the first 50p coin featuring his design!

Wright Robinson, a member of the Get Set network, were offered this opportunity to nominate two students to join Theo on this exciting day as an exclusive Get Set network reward.

Jubril and Aimee witnessed history in the making as they filmed and interviewed Theo, his family, and those involved in producing his coin.

They received expert training from Supporter 2 Reporter before and during the day, and they also worked together to edit their final report. Check out their fantastic filmed report and see how many cool coin facts you can remember at the end!
