adidas are challenging students to design a wet glove for use in water sports through the latest STEM Challenge!
New STEM Challenge is launched!
25 Feb 2010
James Cracknell was joined by students at Eton Dorney, the London 2012 rowing venue, for a special rowing lesson to mark the launch of an exciting new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Challenge!
Students are being tasked to design a wet glove for use in water sports such as canoeing, sailing and rowing.
Students form teams to consider the information provided by adidas experts, and come up with a design that they must test and modify if necessary. And of course, they should demonstrate that they’re living the Olympic and Paralympic Values throughout the process!
The winning glove design could make it to the prototype stage with adidas, and other prizes include spending the day with an Olympian and the latest in adidas sports equipment!
