Get Set hero and diving superstar Tom Daley took his first steps towards becoming an Olympian at the 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival. Two years later his close friend James is aiming to follow in his footsteps.
Both Tom and James are just 14 years old. James began diving when he was just eight years old and he is now the 10m platform junior European Champion, ranked 4th in the world for his age!
James and Tom have competed together in the past. Last September they shared at room at the World Junior Diving Championships and James made the most of the opportunity to ask Tom about his Beijing experiences: ‘I asked him questions like what was the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony like? He gave me so good tips!’
