Over one hundred young athletes have been selected to represent Team GB at the Australia Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney next January.

All the athletes selected are aged between 13 and 19 years, and will be competing in 11 Olympic sports: archery, canoe/kayak, diving, equestrian, fencing, gymnastics, hockey, rowing, shooting, triathlon and beach volleyball.
The Team GB athletes will compete along with 1600 others representing 25 different nations including China and the United States.
Gymnast, Jenni Pinches who has been selected as part of the team said: ‘I’m looking forward to the Australia Youth Olympic Festival a lot. Most of all the travelling and the experience fo being on the other side of the world together with the chance to compete against other countries will be a huge help to me. To have a clean competition in this environment will be a great achievement and really help my career.’
