Two Get Set 'Heroes' were recognised during the BBC Junior Sports Personality of the Year awards yesterday.
Ellie Simmonds wins BBC Junior Sports Personality of the Year

14 year old Ellie Simmonds was crowned Junior Sports Personality of the Year after winning two gold medals in the Beijing Paralympic Games. Ellie was just thirteen and the youngest member of the Paralympics GB team when she matched Rebecca Adlington’s double gold medal achievements in the pool.
Tom Daley was awarded third place in the BBC Junior Sports Personality of the Year competition after his remarkable achievements in Beijing. Tom qualified to the final of the synchronized 10m platform competition and the individual 10m platform competition. He was the young member of Team GB since 1960!
