Brrr…it’s cold outside! Sing these winter action songs and get excited about the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver!

They are based on the old favourite ‘Ten Green Bottles’.
Start at ten or sing one after the other starting at five.

Fast Skiers

Five fast skiers racing down the hill

And if one fast skier should accidentally spill…
There’d be four fast skiers racing down the hill!

Keep singing all the way down to zero.

Actions: crouch and bend at the knees, look straight ahead and tuck the arms into the side.

Snowboarders

Five snowboarders doing a fancy flip
Five snowboarders doing a fancy flip
And if one snowboarder should accidentally slip…
There’d be four snowboarders doing a fancy flip!

Actions: jump, turn around and land with the knees bent.

Ice-skaters

Five ice-skaters spinning round and round
Five ice-skaters spinning round and round
And if one ice-skater should tumble to the ground…
There’d be four ice-skaters spinning round and round!

Actions: gently turn in a circle with arms outstretched.
