Use maths and geography skills to investigate the locations through which the Torch Relay will pass.
Three ideas across the curriculum
1. Look at the list of locations through which the Flame will be passing: Begin by identifying the three nearest towns to where you live. Calculate the distance to each in miles and kilometres.
2. Select one of the locations you have chosen and create an interesting schedule for a visitor. Which three tourist attractions would you recommend?
3. Research public transport links to enable a visitor to follow the Torch Relay on three consecutive days. Which is faster, train or bus? What is the difference in cost?
