Working on the Olympic Park
Qualifications are an important part of working life. Different qualifications will lead you to different jobs. Find out about the types of qualifications and jobs that people have on the Olmypic Park.
ODA Construction Kit resources provided:
- Fact sheets about six workers on the Olympic Park
- Get Set features a film of two workers, Shelley (administration and core support) and Cyrill (ground worker)
- The London 2012 website has five films featuring construction workers
Browse the fact files and also to watch the film about the construction workers. Talk about the qualifications and experience needed for each of the jobs. Do you agree that different personalities might be suited to different jobs? Which of the jobs you’ve seen are they most attracted to and why?
Outcome
