Publication about the historic highlights of the Olympic and Paralympic Games
Create, design and sell an information publication about historical highlights of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Team tasks could include: researching and creating a timeline of interesting, key dates and events from the ancient Games to London 2012, identifying audiences and markets for the publication, working out the most cost-effective format e.g. print based or electronic, and marketing their finished product.

Environmental impacts of the London 2012 Games
Investigate the environmental aspects of the London 2012 Games by considering the impact of building works, transport and catering. The students could form a London 2012 sustainability team to research the environmental issues and make a presentation – perhaps as an assembly for a younger age group or a partner school.
