Get Enterprising has a number of stimulating cross curriculum enterprise resources that can be used to develop young people’s enterprise skills and capabilities
‘Have you got what it takes?’ is a free teacher led resource, which develops enterprise skills in 11 to 14 year olds through asking students to pitch to become an approved pre Games training camp.
By participating in the challenge students are invited to work in teams and to take on the role of a company bidding to London 2012 and later the national governing bodies of sports to become an approved host of a Pre-Games Training Camp.
Have you got what it takes to arrange an exchange?
The focus of the resource is on students planning to host a visit from a group of young people from a country participating in the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
This resource can be used as either an extension activity to Have you got what it takes or works equally well as a standalone resource.
The tasks are open-ended and flexible enough to cater for students aged between 11-19 with a range of abilities, including those with additional or special needs.
