What is the London 2012 Ticketshare initiative?
It’s an exciting initiative that will distribute Olympic and Paralympic Games tickets to many thousands of people who would not normally have access to the Games. Tickets are funded through a levy on the Prestige Ticketing London 2012 hospitality packages through the Prestige Ticketing programme. People and groups that will be eligible for tickets are: children and young people from London and across the UK whose schools/colleges’ applied to join the Get Set network before 16 December 2011, servicemen and women and their families through Tickets for Troops, the British Olympic Association, the British Paralympic Association and Sport England. The Ticketshare scheme is dependent on the success of the Prestige ticket sales.
