Terms and conditions BT Challenge

Read the terms and conditions for the BT Challenge

1. The competition is open to every school and college in the Eastern Region of England (Bedfordshire including Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire and Luton, Cambridgeshire including Peterborough, Essex including Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk) that has formally registered to be part of the London 2012 education programme, “Get Set”.

2. Entries to the competition must be in an electronic format.

3. The Closing date for entries to be submitted to the competition is 1st June 2010.

4. Schools and colleges can enter as many teams as they wish.

5. The teams should ideally consist of six team members.

6. The County winners will be notified on or around the 18th June 2010.

7. The decision as to the winner is final. No correspondence regarding the competition will be entered into.

8. Entrants agree that should they win they shall take part in any reasonable post-competition publicity if BT, London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) or the Nations and Regions East wishes them to do so.

9. LOCOG reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its absolute discretion.

10. This prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.

11. Nothing in these terms affects a person’s statutory rights.

12. Registration details will be shared with LOCOG,NRE and BT for administrative purposes only.

13. English law applies.
