- are you excited about the London 2012 Games?
- are you ready for a challenge?
BT are inviting schools from across the East of England to form teams, take on the BT Challenge and live the Olympic and Paralympic Values!
What is the challenge?
How can technology help encourage, inspire and motivate young people and their families to enjoy a healthier lifestyle?
What do I need to do?
Put your thinking hats on and be creative! Think of an idea for a new product or service that would help young people and their families to take part in a healthier lifestyle.
You’ll have to do some research to find out what products and services already exist and what people think of them.
Once you’ve come up with your really fantastic idea, find a way to present all your findings, thoughts and ideas in an electronic format – anything goes as long as it is not on paper.
Submit your project!
Before you begin:
- You need to form a team with a maximum of 6 members
- You need to find yourself an adult mentor
- Download some useful resources to help you with the challenge
Submitting your entries
Submit your entries on your Get Set blog before the closing date of 1 June 2010
What do I win?
There will be winners for KS2, KS3 and KS4 for each of the six county areas in the East of England, these teams will all be invited to take part in a regional final on 2 July 2010. You’ll present your work to a panel of judges and they’ll pick overall winners for each category!
