Find out what you need to do to submit an application and what the Get Set team are looking for
Submitting an application to the Get Set network
The Get Set network application form is short and simple. You only have to answer three questions:
- In not more than 200 words, tell us why you got involved in Get Set
- In not more than 200 words, summarise what you and your students have done/are doing to demonstrate a commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Values
- In not more than 200 words, tell us what plans you have to continue this work in the future.
What makes a successful application?
The Get Set team is looking for applications which demonstrate three things:
- How you are using the Games to add value to the life of the school/college
- A commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Values
- High levels of learner engagement in the development and delivery of your Values-based initiatives and projects.

What else do we have to do?
You will get the chance to upload additional evidence to support your application such as an official school development plan if you wish to do so. This document should make it very clear how your establishment plans to continue to use the London 2012 Games and the Values to build on the work you are already planning.
This development plan can be for the whole school, one particular department, or could even target specific groups such as children with special educational needs, refugees or those with English as an additional language – it is entirely up to you, and will depend on how you and your students have decided to demonstrate a commitment to the Values.
