This ten challenge programme invites students to tackle a range of issues relating to the London 2012 Games. Each challenge lasts approximatley one term and there are some great prizes on offer!
For the latest challenge, STEMNET and the Paralympic Torch Relay Team are inviting 11-14 year olds to create a spark to light the Paralympic Flame by the energy of human endeavour.

Free curriculum-linked experiment kits for all UK schools and colleges – practical science exploring the mind and body in motion.

In the Zone is the Wellcome Trust’s national initiative linking science to the Games for everyone in 2012.
Free experiment kits brimming with apparatus, experiments and teaching plans will be posted in early 2012 to every UK school and college to help bring science to life in the classroom.
A free interactive touring exhibition will travel to all UK regions engaging people with the science of the human body.
Who is it for?
Experiment kits are for schools across the UK with students age 4-19. The touring exhibition is for all ages.

Nuffield STEM Games is an active learning project inspired by London 2012.
