Girl 2: in 1960 an Ethiopian named Abebe Bakila competed in the Olympic Marathon in Rome and by his own choosing he ran barefoot but still managed to win.

Girl 3: Bangladesh have entered into 7 summer Olympic games.

Girl 4: I hope that the Bangladesh athletes qualify and get to take part in the 2012 Olympic Games
Boy 1: I am a dancer. I do street and breakdance. In the Beijing Olympic Games, Kai Jou won 3 Olympic Gold medals for gymnastics. I hope he represents China in the 2012 Olympic games.

Girl 5: My Grandad is Jamaican and my Mum is Irish from my mother’s side. My Dad’s parents are Scottish. I am privileged to support these countries during the Olympic Games.

Girl 6: It’s important to me that Somali Athletes compete in the London Games because I’d like to see them win a medal and make me proud of my country and who I am.
