Sport can bring people together by getting people to talk with each other, making friends and stuff.

STUDENT 2
In sport you just come together no matter what, play in a team together and that’s what the Olympics is all about.

[MUSIC AND TEXT]

STUDENT 3
The Olympic Truce involves everyone, not just one person. I think it’s not what you do, it’s how you do it.

STUDENT 4

STUDENT 6
You could go into primary schools and make sure that they learn about these kinds of things like the Olympic Truce, and the fact that you must respect other people to gain the respect that you want.

STUDENT 2

STUDENT 7
It’s good because in our country there’s a lot of conflict and we just forgot about it and played those sports that we love, and it’s inspiring because in the Olympics it’s what they do.

[MUSIC AND TEXT]

STUDENT 8
Our drama project is good because we can go to drama and put our differences aside. We’ve learned loads doing the two plays that we’ve done. You can make new friends and you can tell them what you’ve been doing and what you’ve learnt from it.

STUDENT 1
We’re the first dance group for people with disabilities in Northern Ireland.

STUDENT 4
We’re showing people not matter if you’re disabled or not you can still do what able-bodied people do. You might do it differently or slower but you can still do it.

STUDENT 10
I think that we should try and make a big Truce wall, like photos of different kinds of people from different backgrounds, colours, races and religion.

STUDENT 11
There’s still loads of fighting in the world, people should just come together and make peace with each other. They can just get in and get their head stuck in to their sport and what they do best.
